During one of the
long, cold and snowy winters, what the Minguas refer to as their "down time",
Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with the making of beef jerky. He shared his
tasty treat with local neighbors and soon realized that he had developed
something unlike any other beef jerky that anyone had ever tasted. No one was
surprised at this delicious treat, because Ronnie is known as the cook in the
Mingua family, taking his talent from his Mother, Jane.
It is from this humble beginning that the Mingua Brothers' Beef Jerky got its
start. The "boys" today are still doing what they love best, i.e.; raising
cattle for resale, producing corn and soybeans in a grain operation, and
rapidly producing the Best Beef Jerky anywhere, BAR NONE! The Minguas would
