Black Pepper

We’re kickin’ it old school with this throwback flavor.

Back in the 1990s, our Mild Beef Jerky had a bold kick of black pepper. Every tray was made by hand (just like today), and let me tell you… that black pepper at 5 a.m. wasn’t always pleasant — but it sure made the jerky unforgettable.

Earlier this year, I found myself thinking about those childhood memories and wondered, Why did we ever drop that ingredient? So we whipped up a batch of the original old-school black pepper.

And wow — the nostalgia hit hard.

If you’ve been with us since the beginning, you’ll remember this flavor. It takes you straight back to our early days… all the way back to when my family sold jerky out of the trunk of a car.

I hope you enjoy this throwback flavor as much as I’ve enjoyed bringing it back.
